Boys and Girls Team of the Future Kids successfully enter into the Inter-school finals

The Future Kids boys and girls teams have defeated the Suchitra Academy and P Obul reddy Public School respectively and entered into the finals of 14th St Andrews Inter-School basketball Tournament.

 In the girl’s semifinals event, students of Future Kids played a very well fast game. At the end of the first quarter, the scoring made by the Brinda and Navya was at 16-7 lead. Later, Mohana and Kasturi from Obul Reddy tried hard to set a big score but, Future Kids didn’t allow them to do it. And, the game ended with Future Kids in the lead with 43– 34.

The other semifinal match was between Khajaguda’s Delhi Public School and Bowenpally’s St Andrew’s School. The students from the Delhi Public school have won over the St Andrew team with 46-23.

While in the boy’s category, it was a good race between the Future Kids and Suchitra Academy. Subhash from the Future Kids and Vishal from the Suchitra gave a massive attack in the first quarter with a 16-12 lead. In the second half, the Future Kids geared up scored 26-26 at half of the time. At last, Future Kids won the match with 48-43.

The other semifinal was held between Oakridge International and Johnson Grammar (ICSE). The students of Oakridge made it too hard as they raced to win with 71-41.

Boys: The Future Kids 48 (Subash 26, Adyan 13, Harivansh 6) bt Suchitra Academy 43 (Vishal 20, Veer 5, Jai 4). Player of the match: Ramkrish. Oakridge International 77 (Ayush 21, Kartik 15, Ameer 14) bt Johnson Grammar (ICSE) 41 (Vishnu 10, Vishwanath 9). Player of the match: Vishwanath.

Girls: The Future Kids 43 (Brinda 18, Navya 8)bt Obul Reddy Public School 34 (Kasture 11, Sathvika 10). Player of the match: Kushi. Delhi Public School 46 (Harshitha 20, Kinnera 10, Khushi 6) bt St Andrew’s School 23 (Nidhi 10, Sristi 9, Pranavi 4). Player of the match: Sristi.
