Cyient – The mission of the platform is to bridge the gap in the medical technology and devices space and create a change in the healthcare delivery and minimize cost and maximize reach.

Hyderabad-based Cyient in partnership with Xynteo, an international advisory firm, announced the launch of the MedTechConnect platform that is aimed at bringing medtech stakeholders together to address India’s ‘last-mile challenge’ in healthcare and, ultimately, touch millions of lives by 2022 and beyond.

The mission of the platform is to bridge the gap in the medical technology and devices space and create a change in the healthcare delivery and minimize cost and maximize reach. It will enable a collaborative ecosystem comprised of stakeholders across the healthcare value chain (startups, innovation hubs, academia, industry and government bodies, funding and investment partners, and scaling channels across private and public channels) and will foster the development of technologically advanced healthcare solutions that are accessible, affordable and beneficial to people across the country.

Cyient senior vice-president of Medical Technology and Healthcare, Brian Wyatt said, “We have been working with Xynteo and our advisors and ecosystem partners to make MedTechConnect a reality since Cyient joined India2022 Coalition last year. The platform was shaped by combining Cyient’s expertise in medical technology and healthcare with creative ideas from the Xynteo team, valuable suggestions from our advisory board and actual challenges faced by the participants across the patient care continuum.”
