Gitam University hosts Computer Aided engineering conference
It is one of the best deemed to be Universities in India for engineering and management, offering 109 programs at undergraduate, postgraduate
CAE-2o19 aims to bring together the global community which includes academia, researchers, engineers, and managers. It is a uniquely high-level forum where the latest research topics in computational mechanics and contemporary applications of CAE tools are discussed at the conference. Prior to this conference, a two-day workshop on ‘Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning in Manufacturing’ by experts from the industry and academia will be held on Dec 11-12.
Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management, popularly known as GITAM, was founded in 1980 by an inspired group of eminent intellectuals and industrialists of Andhra Pradesh led by Dr. M. V. V. S. Murthi, former Member of Parliament and popular philanthropist.

The vision of MAHATMA, the Father of the Nation was to see India as a socially and economically resurgent country and he looked upon education as an important means to achieve this goal. Gandhiji’s view of education was not narrow or sectarian. He envisaged universities as institutions of higher learning that transcend all linguistic, racial and other barriers. GITAM is committed to imbibe his values and abide by his philosophy.
What is Computer–aided engineering?
Computer–aided engineering (CAE) is the broad usage of computer software to aid in engineering analysis tasks. It includes finite element analysis (FEA), computational fluid dynamics (CFD), multibody dynamics (MBD), durability and optimization.
