Students of the city schools performed well in the Indian School Certificate Examinations (ICSE) and Indian School Certificate (ISC) exams.
Johnson Grammar School achieved 100% results. In ICSE (class 10) exams, 546 students appeared, out of which 123 scored more than 90% and 522 achieved distinction.
In ISC (class 12) exams, 85 students of the school appeared of which 26 students secured distinction. Massarath Fathima was the ICSE topper with 97.4% marks while Shreya Volety topped ISC with 97% in the science stream. In commerce stream, Aishwarya Christie Thiparala scored the highest at 96% marks.
St. Joseph’s School, Asmangadh Palace, Malakpet registered 100% results in ICSE with all 164 students passing with flying colours. R. Sai Lakshanya scored 589 out of 600, E. Manogna got 588 and V. Apuroop secured 584 marks.
Some students scored a perfect 100 in a couple of subjects. Principal U.A. Sundari congratulated the toppers.
International School, Shaikpet, also secured 100% results with Anmol Panda emerging topper.
Gitanjali School (Senior) students too performed well in both ICSE and ISC exams. In ISC, Rohan Shah was the topper with 98.25%.
ICSE ISC Results
Of the 96 students who appeared for the exams, 27 got more than 90%, 46 secured distinctions and 20 students secured first class marks. ICSE topper was Vidhi Shah, scoring 98%. Of the 88 students, 49 secured 90% or more, 86 were in the distinction range and two got first class.
Gitanjali Devshala also achieved outstanding results in ICSE exams. The results were exemplary with 49.3% of students obtaining marks above 90%. All the students secured distinctions.
School principal Madhvi Chandra said 100% marks were achieved by five students in computer applications, five in environmental applications and two in mathematics. The school toppers were Chetna G. Nathan, Mrinal Kutteri, Ananya Reddy and Harsh Bhavishi.
At Hyderabad Public School, Begumpet, Udbhav Saxena secured 97.83% in ICSE while Ainesh Sanyal secured 96.4% in ISC. Kalpa School students also excelled in ICSE, registering 100% pass. All 48 students cleared the examination and of them, 24 secured more than 90% marks. School director Kusum Gupta said the toppers were Aadarsh Devanand (97.8%), Vaishnavi Bijjanipalli (97.6%) and Arsheena Mehvish (97.4%).
