To provide a platform for aspiring pre-primary and primary teachers studying at its academy and showcase their talent acquired from the yearlong diploma programme, Integrated Preschool Teachers Training Academy (IPTTA) hosted ‘IPTTA Fest 6’.

Appreciating the growing demand for teacher training programmes IPTTA wants to create a platform for aspiring teachers. Our most appreciated and well-known program is in collaboration AIECCE (All India Early Childhood Care and Education) NTT – 1yr. course. Our Faculty is well known and experienced in the pre-primary teachers training field. IPTTA has been born out of a passion to train teachers dealing with young ones.

This event also coincided with launch of the book ‘All about Teaching Aids’ co-authored by ReetaSonawat, former Dean of Faculty, SNDT Women’s University, Mumbai and Sonal Andrews, Director, IPTTA. The book classifies the different types of teaching aids to be employed and can be created in the early childhood classrooms.

Speaking on the occasion, ReetaSonawat said, teaching aids were the backbone to learning as they help learn a subject in depth. The learning of the child is based on the way they see and visualise and the foundation to their learning was laid there, she said.

Organisers said that every year IPTTA fest brings more than a hundred teaching aids on one theme to make every class interesting to the kid. More than 700 teachers visited this exhibition from across the city to learn and share their knowledge.
