NIT organises the Swachhta Pakhwada 2019 meet

In accordance with the Swachahta Pakhwada 2019, academicians, students, the staff of the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Warangal, and experts held a Water Conservation meet at Ramanujan Hall of the campus.

The lead of the meet was Sunil Kumar Ranjan, and he is the Deputy Secretary in the Commerce Department, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, New Delhi. On occasion, he mainly concentrated on the need for water conservation and the various measures to obtain it by the Union Government at the National, regional, and local levels.

The guest of honor – Dr. R Mallikarjuna Reddy presented the work at Kakatiya University and stated the things which can be made best at NIT Warangal.

Followed by, Prof. N V Raman Rao, the director shared his thoughts on the immediate need for the steps to curb the plans and leakages of the conservation activities. He further motivated the young minds in participating and coming out with the latest innovative solutions to manage the water conservation system.

Swachhta and Water Pledge were even followed further during the event during a rally. The rally was more considering the need for water conservation and ban of the single-use plastic. It was honored by a large number of staff and students from the college.

Jai Shakti Abhiyaan, Dr. K Venkaya Reddy, Dr. P Venkateshwara (Nodal Officer), Dr. G V Ramana, and Dr. C Sumanth were the members to organize and plan for the complete activity held at Ramanujan hall of the campus.
