TTD – Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam former employee hailing from Khammam district of Telangana was apprehended by Hyderabad city task force police on charges of cheating job aspirants promising jobs in Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam, Yadagirigutta Devasthanam and Singareni Collieries Company Limited. He lured them with offers of the posts of data operators, store operators, multi-tasking staff and attenders and collected huge amounts from them, police said.

A series of complaints were received by Hyderabad and Karimnagar police that Perumalla Ramesh, 28, a resident of Tarnaka and a native of Khammam who discontinued his studies with intermediate and started working as a system operator in TTD, Karimnagar, as an out-sourcing employee.

Hyderabad Task Force Central Zone personnel who got a tip-off about Ramesh apprehended him and handed him over to Bowenpally police.

TTD employed was bribed?

According to the Task Force, Ramesh came in contact with many job aspirants from Karimnagar and assured jobs through backdoor using his contacts. “He collected money ranging from few thousands to a lakh based on the posts they desired. So far, he cheated about 40 job aspirants, most of them from Karimnagar,” police said.

Ramesh also cheated 25 devotees promising Seva tickets of Lord Venkateswara Swamy in Tirumala. He collected money but did not book tickets, police said. In this regard, the TTD officials held his posting for one month and later dismissed him, officials said.

Reaction to cheating

Official said so far, three cases were registered against Ramesh in Hyderabad and Karimnagar. He was handed over to the Bowenpally police for further investigation. The Hyderabad Police warned job aspirants not to fall trap to agents who promise jobs through unofficial channels. They suggest youngsters to confirm about the posting from the authorities concerned.

The ex TTD employee was held and job aspirants have been giving counseling about identifying genuine job offers. Falling in such traps has always been the urge to get jobs, but finding weather the job is genuine or not is the most important task for any job aspirant.
